jenna's package

so i'm choosing not to care that my kids are monopolizing this blog- it's your own fault!

we realized about half-way to tucson after labor day weekend that jenna had left Baby Bear at grandma and grandpa's house. she was crushed. she asked for him at least three times a day. she even called grandma to make sure he was okay. so you can imagine her surprise when she got a package in the mail. she didn't know what would be in there...

Baby Bear traveled by mail! how cool! and he brought a new friend with him too- Secret Bear! since his joyful return, he has not left her side for very long. thanks grandma!

Loving the hand-me-downs

Jenna loves the 'Racecar' movie and 'Lightning M-Queen'She's got on what I think was Rich's TowMater Shirt, and Adam has on some ones (not sure who's) Racecar pj's.

David's diagnosis

Dave has recently been having some heart problems that he was referred to the Cardiologist for. After multiple EKG's and an Echo (ultrasound) of the heart, he's been diagnosed with WPW or Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. It's a rare condition, but David has a 'text-book' case. It is easily cured with a simple procedure, that we hope to schedule sometime in the next couple of weeks. I could explain and explain... or you could just google it, or click the link that I attached above. Just thought I'd let you all know. We are happy that it is not a more serious condition or one that requires pills everyday for the rest of his life.

Gun Fun in Tucson

june 19th, mark drove down to tucson and went shooting with rebekah, richard and david. i handed dave the camera as he headed out the door- so here is some proof of the 'fun' they had.

tv time

I turned the tv off this morning after an hour of shows in hopes
of the kids finding other things to do.

Jenna: Mooooooom, why did you turn offfff the tv? I want to watch shoooows.
Heather: I figured we could take a little break. Maybe play or read stories.
Jenna: But I want to watch shoooows, not take a break.
Heather: Really? But I would like to play.
Jenna: Shows. Watch Shows.
Heather: Why are you so whiny?
Jenna: Why are you so turny offy?

Richard's Baptism

David baptized Richard on Wednesday, January 27th and confirmed him this past Sunday, January 30th. Richard {the littler one}, Abby, and Jenna all enjoyed watching the baptism close up- I think Abby wanted to get in the water, and Richard is annoyed that he has to wait 2 more years before it's his turn.

i just mentioned to jenna that we would be going to richards ward
this morning for the first part of church. she got all excited and said,
"Richard is my best friend!"

with adam's newly-mastered crawling skills, he had become pretty determined.
when he sees something, he HAS to have it. take the apron strings..."i've got them right where i want them!"
